Optional Transfer

UnB offers a way for students from other post-secondary institutions to enroll in the university, whether Brazilian or international, in the same or an equivalent study course through an optional transfer. The places offered to undergraduates are those that have become idle due to previously enrolled students who have left the university. Applicants are evaluated through a selection process by the Center for Selection and Promotion of Events, at the University of Brasilia (CESPE/UnB).

The selection process proceeds in accordance with invitations by CESPE, specifying the number of vacant places, the deadline for signing up, the fee amount to be paid and the test dates. To sign up, the student’s voter registration number (CPF) is required; issued by the Federal Revenue Service. Tests are administered entirely in Portuguese and no places are reserved for students originating from international institutions. All applicants must compete in the selection process equally.

Documents issued in a foreign language must be certified by the Brazilian consulate in the country in which they were issued and translated by a sworn translator. No translation of Spanish documents is required.
Information about application, curricular requirements, documents, and the stages of the selection process can be found on the CESPE website (http://www.cespe.unb.br/vestibular/ ).
